If you or a loved one are home-bound or in a nursing home, and wish to receive Holy Communion, please contact the parish office. We will be happy to arrange for someone to visit.

Annual Day of Service

Monthly Service Saturday

As an outgrowth of the annual Day of Service and originally spearheaded by parishioner John Sweeney, the Social Ministry committee is now hosting monthly service events on the second Saturday morning of each month during specific months of the year.
Men, women, teens and school groups are invited to participate on a regular or occasional basis to continue the good works throughout the calendar year. No special skills are needed and everyone is welcome.
You can contact Steve Moore for more information. We are always looking for new projects, and Steve would welcome your ideas about where we can serve.
St. Augustine Soup Kitchen

The St. Augustine Soup Kitchen is held monthly. All ages are welcome. Volunteers needed for cooking large casseroles and desserts in advance. We’ll supply recipes, burger and pans and will freeze until ready for use!
Also need backup food and supplies such as: Aluminum storage pans, canned fruits, vegetables, tomato sauce, apple sauce, lemonade, takeout containers, plates, etc. all in large sizes/bulk.
St. Vincent de Paul Society

Members provide critical financial aid and household items to those in need. In addition participate in Old Newsboys Day, Christmas food boxes for the Wellston Center, Soup and Salad on Ash Wednesday, and additional ways to assist throughout the year.
St. Patrick Center

Volunteers prepare two casseroles each month for the center.
St. Peter and Paul Ministries
Contact: This position is currently available. Please contact the church if you are interested in volunteering.
Volunteers assist with feeding the homeless at Thanksgiving at St. Peter and Paul Church in Soulard.
Wellston Center Food Pantry and Thrift Store

Volunteers provide clothing, food baskets and monthly monetary support to the store, food pantry
and the counseling center.
